The Cry of the Bastard
See the appendix of this proposal for a full
synopsis of the thirteen chapters.
Chapter 1: The Shout
Who I am and why I’m calling for a mass men’s
movement in a book directed exclusively at men.
Chapter 2: The Breaking
Out
How the great achievements of feminism have done
little to change traditional attitudes, but have
provided women with a tool to pursue traditional
goals more effectively, while men languish without
benefit.
Chapter 3: The Rebalancing Act
What men can do to begin their own true social
development.
Chapter 4: Getting It Up
How we can transform the old institutions to
better serve the legitimate needs of men as well
as women
Chapter 5: Love - The
Drug
As we seek to improve our social institutions, men
must understand the nature of love.
Chapter 6: Our Strength is Our Weakness
Virility and constructive aggressiveness were
respected qualities in men, qualities we now
struggle to suppress to the detriment of all.
Chapter 7: Dating - The Safari
Soon imprisoned in enforced monogamy, men’s only
opportunity to express their masculinity without
censure comes during their bachelorhoods, when
they date a variety of women. Who are these women?
Chapter 8: Dating - E Pluribus, Fun
How can you as a man enjoy the dating phase with the least pain?
Chapter 9: Paying for Sex
Prostitution is a universal and natural social
phenomenon and here’s how to benefit from it.
Chapter 10:
Love, Marriage, Divorce and the Truth about
Whining and Nagging
I actually favor love and marriage. My own
personal history illustrates something of the
nature of both.
Chapter 11: Myths and Legends
The great achievements of feminism have been at a
price. Women have become oblivious to the lack of
male social development while soaking up much
received wisdom that is simply untrue.
Chapter 12: Our Own
Worst Enemy
Men have conspired to obscure the truth about
themselves in relation to women by indulging in
exercises of self-hatred and the suppression of
truth.
Chapter 13: The Book and the Spark
Great damage has been done and much ground has
been lost, seemingly by one side but in fact for
all. The coming men’s movement will help remedy
this.
